पुत्रशॊकम अनुप्राप्य एष रैभ्यस्य कर्मणा तयक्ष्यामि तवाम ऋते पुत्र पराणान इष्टतमान भुवि ॥ ३-१३८-१४ ॥

sanskrit

'It is through the agency of Raivya that I have suffered the loss of my child. Without you, O my son, I shall renounce my life, the most precious thing in this world. In my sorrow over your death, I forsake my life.' ॥ 3-138-14 ॥

english translation

putrazòkama anuprApya eSa raibhyasya karmaNA tayakSyAmi tavAma Rte putra parANAna iSTatamAna bhuvi ॥ 3-138-14 ॥
