धनुषाक्षस तु तं दृष्ट्वा मेधाविनम अनामयम निमित्तम अस्य महिषैर भेदयाम आस वीर्यवान ।। ३-१३६-१० ।।

sanskrit

'Then, Dhannushaksha, understanding that the mountain was the instrumental cause of Medhavi's life, caused it to be shattered by buffaloes. With the destruction of this source, the boy perished.' ।। 3-136-10 ।।

english translation

dhanuSAkSasa tu taM dRSTvA medhAvinama anAmayama nimittama asya mahiSaira bhedayAma Asa vIryavAna || 3-136-10 ||
