धनुषाक्षस तु तं दृष्ट्वा मेधाविनम अनामयम निमित्तम अस्य महिषैर भेदयाम आस वीर्यवान ॥ ३-१३६-१० ॥

sanskrit

'Then, Dhannushaksha, understanding that the mountain was the instrumental cause of Medhavi's life, caused it to be shattered by buffaloes. With the destruction of this source, the boy perished.' ॥ 3-136-10 ॥

english translation

dhanuSAkSasa tu taM dRSTvA medhAvinama anAmayama nimittama asya mahiSaira bhedayAma Asa vIryavAna ॥ 3-136-10 ॥
