[यव] परतिभास्यन्ति वै वेदा मम तातस्य चॊभयॊः अति चान्यान भविष्यावॊ वरा लब्धास तथा मया ॥ ३-१३६-१ ॥

sanskrit

'Having attained his desired goal, Yavakri approached his father and said, "O father, the Vedas will be revealed to both you and me, and I have acquired boons through which we shall surpass all others."' ॥ 3-136-1 ॥

english translation

[yava] paratibhAsyanti vai vedA mama tAtasya còbhayòH ati cAnyAna bhaviSyAvò varA labdhAsa tathA mayA ॥ 3-136-1 ॥
