सवाध्यायार्थे समारम्भॊ ममायं पाकशासन तपसा जञातुम इच्छामि सर्वज्ञानानि कौशिक ॥ ३-१३५-२० ॥
'O conqueror of Paka, all my efforts are directed towards gaining this Vedic wisdom. O Kaushika, through the power of my asceticism, I seek to acquire all forms of knowledge.' ॥ 3-135-20 ॥
