स तच छरुत्वा बराह्मणानां सकाशाद; बरह्मॊद्यं वै कथयितुम आगतॊ ऽसमि कवासौ बन्दी यावद एनं समेत्य; नक्षत्राणीव सविता नाशयामि ॥ ३-१३३-१८ ॥

sanskrit

'Hearing this, I have come before these Brahmanas to expound the doctrine of the unity of the Supreme Being. Where is Vandin now? Tell me, so that I may approach him and vanquish him, even as the sun dispels the stars.' ।। 3-133-18 ।।

english translation

sa taca charutvA barAhmaNAnAM sakAzAda; barahmòdyaM vai kathayituma Agatò 'sami kavAsau bandI yAvada enaM sametya; nakSatrANIva savitA nAzayAmi ॥ 3-133-18 ॥
