अत्रैव पुत्रशॊकेन वसिष्ठॊ भगवान ऋषिः बद्ध्वात्मानं निपतितॊ विपाशः पुनर उत्थितः ॥ ३-१३०-९ ॥

'In his sorrow over the death of his sons, the great sage Vasistha had cast himself into this river, binding his limbs. Yet, when he emerged from the waters, he was miraculously unfettered.' ॥ 3-130-9 ॥
