एषा सरॊ वती पुण्या दिव्या चॊघवती नदी एतद विनशनं नाम सरॊ वत्या विशां पते ॥ ३-१३०-३ ॥
'Here flows the beautiful and sacred river Saraswati, brimming with water. And here, O Lord of men, lies the spot known as Vinasana, where the Saraswati vanished.' ॥ 3-130-3 ॥
