'Moved by compassion, the Rakshasi, though possessing a pure heart, remained silent out of pity for Bhima.' ॥ 3-13-91 ॥

स नादान विनदन घॊरान राक्षसः पुरुषादकः अभ्यद्रवत वेगेन भीमसेनं तदा किल ॥ ३-१३-९२ ॥
'The man-eating Rakshasa, uttering terrifying cries, charged at Bhima with tremendous force.' ॥ 3-13-92 ॥
english translation
तम अभिद्रुत्य संक्रुद्धॊ वेगेन महता बली अगृह्णात पाणिना पाणिं भीमसेनस्य राक्षसः ॥ ३-१३-९३ ॥
'As he approached furiously, the fierce cannibal, filled with rage, grasped Bhima’s hand.' ॥ 3-13-93 ॥
english translation
इन्द्राशनिसमस्पर्शं वज्रसंहननं दृढम संहत्य भीमसेनाय वयाक्षिपत सहसा करम ॥ ३-१३-९४ ॥
'The Rakshasa, gripping Bhima’s hand with a force akin to Indra’s thunderbolt, struck him with a blow as powerful as lightning.' ॥ 3-13-94 ॥

गृहीतं पाणिना पाणिं भीमसेनॊ ऽथ रक्षसा नामृष्यत महाबाहुस तत्राक्रुध्यद वृकॊदरः ॥ ३-१३-९५ ॥
'Then, when his hand was seized by the hand of the rakshasa, the mighty-armed Bhimasena did not tolerate it. There, Vrikodara became enraged.' ॥ 3-13-95 ॥
