[वै] भॊजाः परव्रजिताञ शरुत्वा वृष्णयश चान्धकैः सह पाण्डवान दुःखसंतप्तान समाजग्मुर महावने ।। ३-१३-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Vaisampayana said, 'Upon learning of the Pandavas' exile, the Bhojas, Vrishnis, and Andhakas set out to visit the noble heroes, who were dwelling in sorrow within the vast forest.'' ।। 3-13-1 ।।

english translation

[vai] bhòjAH paravrajitAJa zarutvA vRSNayaza cAndhakaiH saha pANDavAna duHkhasaMtaptAna samAjagmura mahAvane || 3-13-1 ||

'The kinsmen of the Panchalas, along with Dhrishtaketu, the king of the Chedis, and the renowned and mighty Kekaya brothers, their hearts ablaze with wrath, went to the forest to meet the sons of Pritha.' ।। 3-13-2 ।।

pAJcAlasya ca dAyAdA dhRSTaketuza ca cedipaH kekayAza ca mahAvIryA bharAtarò lòkavizrutAH || 3-13-2 ||

'Filled with anger and indignation, they rushed to the forest to meet the sons of Pritha, condemning the sons of Dhritarashtra and asking, 'What shall we do?'' ।। 3-13-3 ।।

'Led by Vasudeva, all those illustrious Kshatriya warriors gathered around and respectfully sat before Yudhishthira, the king of righteousness.' ।। 3-13-4 ।।

'Bowing respectfully to the foremost of the Kurus, Kesava spoke sorrowfully, 'The earth shall drink the blood of Duryodhana, Karna, Dussasana, and the vile Sakuni!'' ।। 3-13-5 ।।
