ततः सर्वे ऽभिषिञ्चामॊ धर्मराजं युधिष्ठिरम निकृत्यॊपचरन वध्य एव धर्मः सनातनः ॥ ३-१३-६ ॥
'We will slay them in battle, defeat their allies, and enthrone Yudhishthira the just. The wicked deserve to be slain, for this is the eternal law of righteousness.' ॥ 3-13-6 ॥
english translation
tataH sarve 'bhiSiJcAmò dharmarAjaM yudhiSThirama nikRtyòpacarana vadhya eva dharmaH sanAtanaH ॥ 3-13-6 ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, 'When Janardana, inflamed by the injustices suffered by Pritha’s sons, appeared ready to destroy all creation in his wrath, Arjuna made every effort to calm him.'' ॥ 3-13-7 ॥

[vai] pArthAnAma abhiSaGgeNa tathA karuddhaM janArdanama arjunaH zamayAma AsA didhakSantama iva parajAH ॥ 3-13-7 ॥

'Observing Kesava’s anger, Falguna began to recount the glorious deeds of Vishnu in his previous lives.' ॥ 3-13-8 ॥

saMkruddhaM kezavaM dRSTvA pUrvadeheSu phalgunaH kIrtayAma Asa karmANi satyakIrtera mahAtmanaH ॥ 3-13-8 ॥

'He who is immeasurable, eternal, and of boundless energy; the lord of Prajapati, the supreme ruler of the worlds, and the embodiment of profound wisdom.' ॥ 3-13-9 ॥

puruSasyAprameyasya satyasyAmita tejasaH parajApatipatera viSNòra lòkanAthasya dhImataH ॥ 3-13-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[अर] दशवर्षसहस्राणि यत्रसायं गृहॊ मुनिः वयचरस तवं पुरा कृष्ण पर्वते गन्धमादने ॥ ३-१३-१० ॥
'Arjuna said, 'In ancient times, O Krishna, you spent ten thousand years wandering the Gandhamadana mountains as a sage residing where evening fell.'' ॥ 3-13-10 ॥
