[वै] पार्थानाम अभिषङ्गेण तथा करुद्धं जनार्दनम अर्जुनः शमयाम आसा दिधक्षन्तम इव परजाः ॥ ३-१३-७ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'When Janardana, inflamed by the injustices suffered by Pritha’s sons, appeared ready to destroy all creation in his wrath, Arjuna made every effort to calm him.'' ॥ 3-13-7 ॥
