तस्मिन वीर समावाये संरब्धेष्व अथ राजसु धृष्टद्युम्नमुखैर वीरैर भरातृभिः परिवारिता ॥ ३-१३-४१ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued: 'When the illustrious Kesava spoke thus in the midst of that assembly of brave kings, all stirred with anger.' ॥ 3-13-41 ॥

पाञ्चाली पुण्डरीकाक्षम आसीनं यादवैः सह अभिगम्याब्रवीत कृष्णा शरण्यं शरणैषिणी ॥ ३-१३-४२ ॥
'Panchali (Draupadi), seeking refuge, approached the lotus-eyed one (Krishna) who was seated among the Yadavas, and spoke to him as one who offers protection.' ॥ 3-13-42 ॥

पूर्वे परजा निसर्वे तवाम आहुर एकं परजापतिम सरष्टारं सर्वभूतानाम असितॊ देवलॊ ऽबरवीत ॥ ३-१३-४३ ॥
'She said, 'Asita and Devala have declared that in the creation of all things, you alone are identified by the sages as the sole Prajapati and the Creator of all the worlds.' ॥ 3-13-43 ॥

विष्णुस तवम असि दुर्धर्ष तवं यज्ञॊ मधुसूदन यष्टा तवम असि यष्टव्यॊ जामदग्न्यॊ यथाब्रवीत ॥ ३-१३-४४ ॥
'Moreover, Jamadagnya asserts that you are Vishnu, and, O slayer of Madhu, that you are the embodiment of Sacrifice, the Sacrificer, and the object of sacrifice!' ॥ 3-13-44 ॥

ऋषयस तवां कषमाम आहुः सत्यं च पुरुषॊत्तम सत्याद यज्ञॊ ऽसि संभूतः कश्यपस तवां यथाब्रवीत ॥ ३-१३-४५ ॥
'And, O foremost of beings, the Rishis identify you with Forgiveness and Truth. Kasyapa has said that you are Sacrifice itself, born from Truth.' ॥ 3-13-45 ॥
