तं चापि विनिहत्यॊग्रं भीमः परहरतां वरः सहितॊ भरातृभिः सर्वैर दरुपदस्य पुरं ययौ ॥ ३-१३-१०१ ॥
'After vanquishing this fierce foe, Bhima, the foremost of warriors, and his brothers proceeded to the capital of Drupada.' ॥ 3-13-101 ॥
english translation
taM cApi vinihatyògraM bhImaH paraharatAM varaH sahitò bharAtRbhiH sarvaira darupadasya puraM yayau ॥ 3-13-101 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलब्धाहम अपि तत्रैव वसता सव्यसाचिना यथा तवया जिता कृष्ण रुक्मिणी भीष्मकात्मजा ॥ ३-१३-१०२ ॥
'O Krishna, just as thou didst win Rukmini, the daughter of Bhishmaka, so too did Arjuna obtain me at the Swayamvara.' ॥ 3-13-102 ॥

labdhAhama api tatraiva vasatA savyasAcinA yathA tavayA jitA kRSNa rukmiNI bhISmakAtmajA ॥ 3-13-102 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं सुयुद्धे पार्थेन जिताहं मधुसूदन सवयंवरे महत कर्मकृत्वा नसुकरं परैः ॥ ३-१३-१०३ ॥
'Arjuna performed a remarkable feat, surpassing all others, and fought valiantly against the assembled kings to win me.' ॥ 3-13-103 ॥

evaM suyuddhe pArthena jitAhaM madhusUdana savayaMvare mahata karmakRtvA nasukaraM paraiH ॥ 3-13-103 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं कलेशैः सुबहुभिः कलिश्यमानाः सुदुःखिताः निवसाम आर्यया हीनाः कृष्ण धौम्य पुरःसराः ॥ ३-१३-१०४ ॥
'Thus, O Krishna, I am enduring numerous sorrows and profound distress, living with Dhaumya at our head, yet deprived of the presence of the esteemed Kunti.' ॥ 3-13-104 ॥

evaM kalezaiH subahubhiH kalizyamAnAH suduHkhitAH nivasAma AryayA hInAH kRSNa dhaumya puraHsarAH ॥ 3-13-104 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत इमे सिंहविक्रान्ता वीर्येणाभ्यधिका परैः विहीनैः परिक्लिश्यन्तीं समुपेक्षन्त मां कथम ॥ ३-१३-१०५ ॥
'Why do those endowed with strength and lion-like prowess remain indifferent, watching me suffer such humiliations at the hands of despicable enemies?' ॥ 3-13-105 ॥
