अनपत्यस तु राजर्षिः स महात्मा दृढव्रतः मन्त्रिष्व आधाय तद राज्यं वननित्यॊ बभूव ह ।। ३-१२६-७ ।।

sanskrit

'But that king, a saintly soul with mighty resolve, was without a son. Of firm vows, he entrusted the affairs of the kingdom to his ministers and withdrew to live permanently in the forest.' ।। 3-126-7 ।।

english translation

anapatyasa tu rAjarSiH sa mahAtmA dRDhavrataH mantriSva AdhAya tada rAjyaM vananityò babhUva ha || 3-126-7 ||
