न युक्तम इति तं पराह भगवान भार्गवस तदा सुतार्थं सथापिता हय आपस तपसा चैव संभृताः ॥ ३-१२६-१८ ॥

sanskrit

'Then the revered son of Bhrigu spoke unto him, saying, "It was not proper. This water had been infused with a special power through my austerities, and was placed here with the intention of granting you a son."' ।। 3-126-18 ।।

english translation

na yuktama iti taM parAha bhagavAna bhArgavasa tadA sutArthaM sathApitA haya Apasa tapasA caiva saMbhRtAH ॥ 3-126-18 ॥
