अयाचद अथ सैन्यार्थं पराञ्जलिः पृथिवीपतिः अज्ञानाद बालया यत ते कृतं तत कषन्तुम अर्हसि ।। ३-१२२-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'The lord of the earth, with his hands joined in reverence, earnestly implored the sage, saying, "I beseech you to forgive my daughter, who, out of ignorance and youth, has wronged you."' ।। 3-122-21 ।।

english translation

ayAcada atha sainyArthaM parAJjaliH pRthivIpatiH ajJAnAda bAlayA yata te kRtaM tata kaSantuma arhasi || 3-122-21 ||
