[ल] नृगेण यजमानेन सॊमेनेह पुरंदरः तर्पितः शरूयते राजन स तृप्तॊ मदम अभ्यगात ॥ ३-१२१-१ ॥

'Lomasa said, "O king! When Nriga performed a sacrifice at this place, he pleased Indra, the vanquisher of hostile cities, with his offerings of Soma juice. Indra, feeling refreshed and greatly delighted, was satisfied by the sacrifice."' ॥ 3-121-1 ॥

english translation

[la] nRgeNa yajamAnena sòmeneha puraMdaraH tarpitaH zarUyate rAjana sa tRptò madama abhyagAta ॥ 3-121-1 ॥

इह देवैः सहेन्द्रैर हि परजापतिभिर एव च इष्टं बहुविधैर यज्ञैर महद्भिर भूरिदक्षिणैः ॥ ३-१२१-२ ॥

'Here, the gods, alongside Indra and the protectors of all living beings, performed grand sacrifices of diverse kinds, generously offering abundant gratuities to the officiating priests.' ॥ 3-121-2 ॥

iha devaiH sahendraira hi parajApatibhira eva ca iSTaM bahuvidhaira yajJaira mahadbhira bhUridakSiNaiH ॥ 3-121-2 ॥

आमूर्त रयसश चेह राजा वज्रधरं परभुम तर्पयाम आस सॊमेन हयमेधेषु सप्तसु ॥ ३-१२१-३ ॥

'King Amurtarayasa, the ruler of the world, pleased Indra, the wielder of the thunderbolt, with offerings of Soma juice during the performance of seven horse sacrifices.' ॥ 3-121-3 ॥

AmUrta rayasaza ceha rAjA vajradharaM parabhuma tarpayAma Asa sòmena hayamedheSu saptasu ॥ 3-121-3 ॥

तस्य सप्तसु यज्ञेषु सर्वम आसीद धिरन मयम वानस्पत्यं च भौमं च यद दरव्यं नियतं मखे ॥ ३-१२१-४ ॥

'In the seven sacrifices conducted by him, all the articles that are typically fashioned from wood, earth, or other materials in ordinary rituals were instead made of gold.' ॥ 3-121-4 ॥

tasya saptasu yajJeSu sarvama AsIda dhirana mayama vAnaspatyaM ca bhaumaM ca yada daravyaM niyataM makhe ॥ 3-121-4 ॥

तेष्व एव चास्य यज्ञेषु परयॊगाः सप्त विश्रुताः सप्तैकैकस्य यूपस्य चषालाश चॊपरिस्थिताः ॥ ३-१२१-५ ॥

'It is said that he prepared seven complete sets of stakes, sacrificial rings, designated spots, ladles, utensils, and spoons for each of those rites.' ॥ 3-121-5 ॥
