[सात्यकि] न राम कालः परिदेवनाय; यद उत्तरं तत्र तद एव सर्वे समाचरामॊ हय अनतीत कालं; युधिष्ठिरॊ यद्य अपि नाह किं चित ॥ ३-१२०-१ ॥
'Satyaki said, "O Rama, this is not a time for lamentation. Let us act in accordance with what is appropriate for the present moment, even if Yudhishthira chooses to remain silent."' ॥ 3-120-1 ॥
english translation
ये नाथवन्तॊ हि भवन्ति लॊके; ते नात्मना कर्म समारभन्ते तेषां तु कार्येषु भवन्ति नाथाः; शैब्यादयॊ राम यथा ययातेः ॥ ३-१२०-२ ॥
'Those who have guardians for their well-being do not take initiative themselves; instead, they rely on others to carry out their tasks, just as Shibi and others did for Yayati.' ॥ 3-120-2 ॥
english translation
येषां तथा राम समारभन्ते; कार्याणि नाथाः सवमतेन लॊके ते नाथवन्तः पुरुषप्रवीरा; नानाथ वत कृच्छ्रम अवाप्नुवन्ति ॥ ३-१२०-३ ॥
'Likewise, O Rama, those who entrust capable leaders with the responsibility to carry out their duties independently are truly supported by protectors. They face no hardships, unlike those who are left without guidance, like helpless beings.' ॥ 3-120-3 ॥

कस्माद अयं राम जनार्दनौ च; परद्युम्न साम्बौ च मया समेतौ वसत्य अरण्ये सह सॊदरीयैस; तरैलॊक्यनाथान अधिगम्य नाथान ॥ ३-१२०-४ ॥
'How is it that, though the sons of Pritha have such protectors as Rama, Krishna, Pradyumna, Samba, and myself—each capable of defending all three worlds—they are still dwelling in the forest with their brothers?' ॥ 3-120-4 ॥

निर्यातु साध्व अद्य दशार्ह सेना; परभूतनानायुध चित्रवर्माः यमक्षयं गच्छतु धार्तराष्ट्रः; स बान्धवॊ वृष्णिबलाभिभूतः ॥ ३-१२०-५ ॥
'Today, let the army of the Dasharhas march forth, armed in diverse weapons and clad in checkered mail. May Dhritarashtra’s sons, along with their allies, be overcome by the might of the Vrishni forces and be sent to the abode of the god of death.' ॥ 3-120-5 ॥
