ये नाथवन्तॊ हि भवन्ति लॊके; ते नात्मना कर्म समारभन्ते तेषां तु कार्येषु भवन्ति नाथाः; शैब्यादयॊ राम यथा ययातेः ॥ ३-१२०-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Those who have guardians for their well-being do not take initiative themselves; instead, they rely on others to carry out their tasks, just as Shibi and others did for Yayati.' ॥ 3-120-2 ॥

english translation

ye nAthavantò hi bhavanti lòke; te nAtmanA karma samArabhante teSAM tu kAryeSu bhavanti nAthAH; zaibyAdayò rAma yathA yayAteH ॥ 3-120-2 ॥
