हिडिम्बबकयॊः पापन तवम अश्रुप्रमार्जनम करिष्यसि गतश चासि यमस्य सदनं परति ॥ ३-१२-६६ ॥
'O sinful wretch, you will no longer need to dry the tears of Hidimva or Vaka, for you are also about to descend to Yama's realm!' ॥ 3-12-66 ॥

इत्य एवम उक्त्वा पुरुषप्रवीरस; तं राक्षसं करॊधविवृत्त नेत्रः परस्रस्तवस्त्राभरणं सफुरन्तम; उद्ब्भ्रान्त चित्तं वयसुम उत्ससर्ज ॥ ३-१२-६७ ॥
'Having spoken thus, Bhima, his heart filled with rage, and seeing the Rakshasa, bereft of clothing and ornaments, insensible and convulsing, left him dead.' ॥ 3-12-67 ॥

तस्मिन हते तॊयदतुल्यरूपे; कृष्णां पुरस्कृत्य नरेन्द्रपुत्राः भीमं परशस्याथ गुणैर अनेकैर; हृष्टास ततॊ दवैतवनाय जग्मुः ॥ ३-१२-६८ ॥
'Once the Rakshasa, dark as a storm cloud, had been slain, the son of Pandu, praising Bhima's many virtues and placing Krishna in their lead, set out for the Dwaita woods.' ॥ 3-12-68 ॥
english translation
एवं विनिहतः संख्ये किर्मीरॊ मनुजाधिप भीमेन वचनाद अस्य धर्मराजस्य कौरव ॥ ३-१२-६९ ॥
'Vidura continued, "Thus, O revered one, Kirmira was slain in combat by Bhima, in accordance with the commands of Yudhishthira, the just!' ॥ 3-12-69 ॥

ततॊ निष्कण्टकं कृत्वा वनं तद अपराजितः दरौपद्या सहधर्मज्ञॊ वसतिं ताम उवास ह ॥ ३-१२-७० ॥
'After vanquishing the forest’s pest, Yudhishthira, victorious and righteous, settled in that dwelling with Draupadi.' ॥ 3-12-70 ॥
