पाण्डवॊ धर्मराजॊ ऽहं यदि ते शरॊत्रम आगतः सहितॊ भरातृभिः सर्वैर भीमसेनार्जुनादिभिः ॥ ३-१२-२६ ॥
'I am Yudhishthira, the just king, son of Pandu. You may have heard of me. Stripped of my kingdom, I, along with my brothers Bhimasena, Arjuna, and others.' ॥ 3-12-26 ॥
english translation
हृतराज्यॊ वनेवासं वस्तुं कृतम इतस ततः वनम अभ्यागतॊ घॊरम इदं तव परिग्रहम ॥ ३-१२-२७ ॥
'Having been deprived of my kingdom and now residing in the forest, we have come to this dreadful place under your domain.' ॥ 3-12-27 ॥
english translation
किर्मीरस तव अब्रवीद एनं दिष्ट्या देवैर इदं मम उपपादितम अद्येह चिरकालान मनॊगतम ॥ ३-१२-२८ ॥
'Vidura continued, 'Kirmira said to Yudhishthira, "It is by fortunate destiny that my long-cherished desire has been fulfilled today!"'' ॥ 3-12-28 ॥

भीमसेनवधार्थं हि नित्यम अभ्युद्यतायुधः चरामि पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां नैनम आसादयाम्य अहम ॥ ३-१२-२९ ॥
'I have roamed the entire earth, weapon in hand, with the sole purpose of slaying Bhima.' ॥ 3-12-29 ॥
english translation
सॊ ऽयम आसादितॊ दिष्ट्या भरातृहा काङ्क्षितश चिरम अनेन हि मम भराता बकॊ विनिहतः परियः ॥ ३-१२-३० ॥
'Until now, I have been unable to find him. By good fortune, the very slayer of my brother, whom I have sought for so long, has appeared before me!' ॥ 3-12-30 ॥
