[व] ततश चतुर्दशीं रामः समयेन महामनाः दर्शयाम आस तान विप्रान धर्मराजं च सानुजम ।। ३-११७-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, "On the fourteenth day of the moon, the mighty-souled Rama, at the appointed hour, presented himself to the members of the priestly caste as well as to the virtuous king Yudhishthira and his younger brothers."' ।। 3-117-16 ।।

english translation

[va] tataza caturdazIM rAmaH samayena mahAmanAH darzayAma Asa tAna viprAna dharmarAjaM ca sAnujama || 3-117-16 ||

स तम आनर्च राजेन्द्रॊ भरातृभिः सहितः परभुः दविजानां च परां पूजां चक्रे नृपतिसत्तमः ।। ३-११७-१७ ।।

'O king of kings, Rama, together with his brothers, worshipped Jamadagni's son and bestowed the highest honors upon all the twice-born.' ।। 3-117-17 ।।

english translation

sa tama Anarca rAjendrò bharAtRbhiH sahitaH parabhuH davijAnAM ca parAM pUjAM cakre nRpatisattamaH || 3-117-17 ||

अर्चयित्वा जामदग्न्यं पूजितस तेन चाभिभूः महेन्द्र उष्य तां रात्रिं परययौ दक्षिणामुखः ।। ३-११७-१८ ।।

'After paying homage and receiving praises from him, they spent the night on Mahendra Hill at his direction, before embarking on their journey towards the southern regions.' ।। 3-117-18 ।।

arcayitvA jAmadagnyaM pUjitasa tena cAbhibhUH mahendra uSya tAM rAtriM parayayau dakSiNAmukhaH || 3-117-18 ||
