चतुर्दशीम अष्टमीं च रामं पश्यन्ति तापसाः अस्यां रात्र्यां वयतीतायां भवित्री च चतुर्दशी ॥ ३-११५-६ ॥
'The ascetics who perform penance in this place are granted the vision of Rama on the fourteenth and eighth days of the lunar cycle. Tomorrow, at the close of this night, the fourteenth day will commence. On that occasion, you will behold him adorned in a dark deerskin, with his hair arranged in matted locks.' ॥ 3-115-6 ॥
