असज जनेनाचरितानि पुत्र; पापान्य अपेयानि मधूनि तानि माल्यानि चैतानि न वै मुनीनां; समृतानि चित्रॊज्ज्वल गन्धवन्ति ॥ ३-११३-४ ॥

sanskrit

'And, O son, those are drinks unworthy of consumption, being spirituous liquors enjoyed by the unrighteous. These garlands, too, bright, fragrant, and of various hues, are not meant for the saints.' ॥ 3-113-4 ॥

english translation

asaja janenAcaritAni putra; pApAnya apeyAni madhUni tAni mAlyAni caitAni na vai munInAM; samRtAni citròjjvala gandhavanti ॥ 3-113-4 ॥
