तस्यां मृग्यां समभवत तस्य पुत्रॊ महान ऋषिः ऋश्य शृङ्गस तपॊनित्यॊ वन एव वयवर्धत ॥ ३-११०-१६ ॥
'As destiny would have it, and in accordance with the creator's unerring word, a mighty sage was born to that same doe, Vibhandaka's son. Rishyasringa, devoted to penance, spent all his days in the forest.' ॥ 3-110-16 ॥
