बरूयाद यद एष राजेन्द्र तत कार्यम अविशङ्कया अक्रियायां हि कार्यस्य पुत्रं ते शप्स्यते रुषा ॥ ३-११-६ ॥
'O Kauravya, you must follow his advice without question. If you fail to heed his recommendations, the sage will become angered and curse your son.' ॥ 3-11-6 ॥
english translation
[वै] एवम उक्त्वा ययौ वयासॊ मैत्रेयः परत्यदृश्यत पूजया परतिजग्राह सपुत्रस तं नराधिपः ॥ ३-११-७ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "After saying this, Vyasa departed, and Maitreya arrived in his place. The king, along with his sons, welcomed the weary sage with respect, offering him Arghya and other rites."' ॥ 3-11-7 ॥

दत्त्वार्घ्याद्याः करियाः सर्वा विश्रान्तं मुनिपुंगवम परश्रयेणाब्रवीद राजा धृतराष्ट्रॊ ऽमबिका सुतः ॥ ३-११-८ ॥
'After offering Arghya and other rites to the sage, the king, Dhritarashtra, son of Amvika, addressed the venerable sage with great respect and deference.' ॥ 3-11-8 ॥

सुखेनागमनं कच चिद भगवन कुरुजाङ्गले कच चित कुशलिनॊ वीरा भरातरः पञ्च पाण्डवाः ॥ ३-११-९ ॥
'O holy one, was your journey from Kuru-jangala pleasant? Are the five Pandavas living in happiness?' ॥ 3-11-9 ॥

समये सथातुम इच्छन्ति कच चिच च पुरुषर्षभाः कच चित कुरूणां सौभ्रात्रम अव्युच्छन्नं भविष्यति ॥ ३-११-१० ॥
'Do they intend to remain here for the foreseeable future? Will the fraternal bond among the Kauravas ever be strained?' ॥ 3-11-10 ॥
