[वै] एवम उक्त्वा ययौ वयासॊ मैत्रेयः परत्यदृश्यत पूजया परतिजग्राह सपुत्रस तं नराधिपः ॥ ३-११-७ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "After saying this, Vyasa departed, and Maitreya arrived in his place. The king, along with his sons, welcomed the weary sage with respect, offering him Arghya and other rites."' ॥ 3-11-7 ॥
