स कॊपवशम आपन्नॊ मैत्रेयॊ मुनिसत्तमः विधिना संप्रयुक्तश च शापायास्य मनॊ दधे ॥ ३-११-३१ ॥
'As if driven by fate, the great sage Maitreya, consumed by wrath, resolved to curse Duryodhana.' ॥ 3-11-31 ॥
english translation
sa kòpavazama Apannò maitreyò munisattamaH vidhinA saMprayuktaza ca zApAyAsya manò dadhe ॥ 3-11-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः स वार्य उपस्पृश्य कॊपसंरक्त लॊचनः मैत्रेयॊ धार्तराष्ट्रं तम अशपद दुष्टचेतसम ॥ ३-११-३२ ॥
'And then, with his eyes reddened by anger, Maitreya, having touched water, addressed the wicked-minded son of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 3-11-32 ॥
english translation
tataH sa vArya upaspRzya kòpasaMrakta lòcanaH maitreyò dhArtarASTraM tama azapada duSTacetasama ॥ 3-11-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्मात तवं माम अनादृत्य नेमां वाचं चिकीर्षसि तस्माद अस्याभिमानस्य सद्यः फलम अवाप्नुहि ॥ ३-११-३३ ॥
'Since you have slighted me and refused to heed my words, you will soon face the consequences of your insolence.' ॥ 3-11-33 ॥
english translation
yasmAta tavaM mAma anAdRtya nemAM vAcaM cikIrSasi tasmAda asyAbhimAnasya sadyaH phalama avApnuhi ॥ 3-11-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतवद अभिद्रॊह संयुक्तं युद्धम उत्पत्स्यते महत यत्र भीमॊ गदापातैस तवॊरुं भेत्स्यते बली ॥ ३-११-३४ ॥
'In the great war arising from your misdeeds, the mighty Bhima will strike your thigh with his mace and crush it!' ॥ 3-11-34 ॥

tavada abhidròha saMyuktaM yuddhama utpatsyate mahata yatra bhImò gadApAtaisa tavòruM bhetsyate balI ॥ 3-11-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्य एवम उक्ते वचने धृतराष्ट्रॊ महीपतिः परसादयाम आस मुनिं नैतद एवं भवेद इति ॥ ३-११-३५ ॥
'After these words were spoken thus, King Dhritarashtra Appeased the sage, saying, 'This should not be so.'' ॥ 3-11-35 ॥

itya evama ukte vacane dhRtarASTrò mahIpatiH parasAdayAma Asa muniM naitada evaM bhaveda iti ॥ 3-11-35 ॥
