sanskrit

'There, the very sound of speech summoned forth clouds and a thousand showers of stones. Upon witnessing this, the people were filled with sorrow and found themselves unable to ascend the hill.' ।। 3-109-3 ।।

english translation

vAcò yatrAbhavana meghA upalAza ca sahasrazaH nAzaknuvaMsa tama AròDhuM viSaNNamanasò janAH || 3-109-3 ||
