एतत ते सर्वम आख्यातं गङ्गा तरिपथ गा यथा पूरणार्थं समुद्रस्य पृथिवीम अवतारिता ।। ३-१०८-१८ ।।

sanskrit

'Thus, as you requested, I have recounted the entire tale: how the Ganga, flowing in three streams, was brought down to the earth to fill the sea.' ।। 3-108-18 ।।

english translation

etata te sarvama AkhyAtaM gaGgA taripatha gA yathA pUraNArthaM samudrasya pRthivIma avatAritA || 3-108-18 ||
