एतच छरुत्वा वचॊ राजा परातिष्ठत भगीरथः यत्र तानि शरीराणि सागराणां महात्मनाम पावनार्थं नरश्रेष्ठ पुण्येन सलिलेन ह ॥ ३-१०८-१४ ॥
'Having heard these words, King Bhagiratha turned his path toward the place where the bodies of the noble sons of Sagara lay, desiring that the holy waters might sanctify them.' ॥ 3-108-14 ॥
