तान उवाच महाभागः सर्वलॊकपितामहः गच्छध्वं तरिदशाः सर्वे लॊकैः सार्धं यथागतम ॥ ३-१०५-६ ॥
'Then the blessed grandfather of all beings (Brahma) addressed the gods, saying, "Go your way, along with all these people.'' ॥ 3-105-6 ॥
english translation
नातिदीर्घेण कालेन सागराणां कषयॊ महान भविष्यति महाघॊरः सवकृतैः कर्मभिर सुराः ॥ ३-१०५-७ ॥
'In a short time, a great and terrible destruction will befall the sons of Sagara, brought about by their own actions.' ॥ 3-105-7 ॥
english translation
एवम उक्तास ततॊ देवा लॊकाश च मनुजेश्वर पितामहम अनुज्ञाप्य विप्रजग्मुर यथागतम ॥ ३-१०५-८ ॥
'Thus addressed, those gods and men, O lord of the sons of Manu, took their leave of the grandfather and returned to their original places.' ॥ 3-105-8 ॥

ततः काले बहुतिथे वयतीते भरतर्षभ दीक्षितः सगरॊ राजा हयमेधेन वीर्यवान तस्याश्वॊ वयचरद भूमिं पुत्रैः सुपरिरक्षितः ॥ ३-१०५-९ ॥
'Then, O chief of Bharata's lineage, after many days had passed, the mighty king Sagara accepted the consecration for performing the horse sacrifice. His horse began to roam the world, guarded by his sons.' ॥ 3-105-9 ॥

समुद्रं स समासाद्य निस्तॊयं भीमदर्शनम रक्ष्यमाणः परयत्नेन तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥ ३-१०५-१० ॥
'And when the horse reached the sea, a terrifying and waterless expanse, it suddenly vanished from the very spot it stood upon, despite being guarded with the utmost care.' ॥ 3-105-10 ॥
