[देवा] सूर्या चन्द्रमसॊर मार्गं नक्षत्राणां गतिं तथा शैलराजॊ वृणॊत्य एष विन्ध्यः करॊधवशानुगः ॥ ३-१०२-८ ॥

sanskrit

'The gods said, "This king of mountains, Vindhya, succumbing to his wrath, is blocking the paths of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the courses of the stars."' ॥ 3-102-8 ॥

english translation

[devA] sUryA candramasòra mArgaM nakSatrANAM gatiM tathA zailarAjò vRNòtya eSa vindhyaH karòdhavazAnugaH ॥ 3-102-8 ॥
