[देवा] नहुषेणाभितप्तानां तवं लॊकानां गतिः पुरा भरंशितश च सुरैश्वर्याल लॊकार्थं लॊककण्ठकः ॥ ३-१०१-१४ ॥

'The deities said, "You were previously the refuge/protector of the worlds when they were tormented by Nahusha. That tormentor of the worlds (Nahusha) was made to fall from his heavenly position for the welfare of the worlds."' ॥ 3-101-14 ॥
