तवया भूमिः पुरा नष्टा समुद्रात पुस्करेक्षण वाराहं रूपम आस्थाय जगद अर्थे समुद्धृता ॥ ३-१००-१९ ॥

sanskrit

'O one with eyes like lotus petals, it was you who, in ancient times, raised the sunken earth from the depths of the ocean, assuming the form of a boar for the benefit of all creatures.' ॥ 3-100-19 ॥

english translation

tavayA bhUmiH purA naSTA samudrAta puskarekSaNa vArAhaM rUpama AsthAya jagada arthe samuddhRtA ॥ 3-100-19 ॥
