[य] धन्या वयं यद अस्माकं सनेहकारुण्ययन्त्रिताः असतॊ ऽपि गुणान आहुर बराह्मण परमुखाः परजाः ।। ३-१-३१ ।।

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira said, "We are indeed blessed, for even those who are led by affection and compassion, including the Brahmanas and other esteemed individuals, credit us with merits we may not fully possess."' ।। 3-1-31 ।।

english translation

[ya] dhanyA vayaM yada asmAkaM sanehakAruNyayantritAH asatò 'pi guNAna Ahura barAhmaNa paramukhAH parajAH || 3-1-31 ||
