तस्मात पराज्ञैश च वृद्धैश च सुस्वभावैस तपस्विभिः सद्भिश च सह संसर्गः कार्यः शम परायणैः ॥ ३-१-२४ ॥
'Therefore, those who seek liberation should associate with the wise, the elderly, the honest, and the pure in conduct—those endowed with ascetic merit.' ॥ 3-1-24 ॥
