तदागदाभिर्गुर्वीभिःप्रासैःखडगैःपरश्वधैः । निर्जघ्नुर्वानरान्घोरान्राक्षसाःपर्वतोपमाः ॥ ६-९४-१६
Then the mountainlike forms of Rakshasas attacked the Vanaras with heavy maces, darts, swords, and axes in frightening ways. ॥ 6-94-16॥

Then, the highly energetic and valiant Rama, taking up the bow entered the Rakshasa army and showered rain of arrows on them. ॥ 6-94-18॥

Then Rama entered the army with fire like arrows which were consuming the Rakshasas like the clouds in the sky which can't approach the scorching Sun. ॥ 6-94-19॥

The night rangers were able to see Rama's terrible action which was difficult for others only after he had performed not otherwise (as they could not see his quick movement). ॥ 6-94-20॥
