तस्यांतस्यांभयत्रस्ताराक्षसास्सन्विलियलिरे । तमन्तकमिवक्रुद्धंचराचरचिखादिषुम् ॥ ६-९३-२६
- the Rakshasas hid themselves trembling with fear. Like the enraged Yama the god of Death, who wants to devour both the mobile and the immobile creatures - ॥ 6-93-26॥

- Ravana, who was looking at all the four quarters, the Rakshasas could not go near him. Ravana the king of Rakshasas, who was very much enraged - ॥ 6-93-27॥

- desirous of posting the demons to the battle-field, then spoke as follows, in their midst - 'I have done penance for thousands of years several times . - ॥ 6-93-28॥

abravIdrakSasAMmadhyesaMstambhayiSurAhave । mayAvarSasahasrANicaritvAparamaMtapaH ॥ 6-93-28
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेषुतेष्ववकाशेषुस्वयम्भूःपरितोषितः । तस्यैवतपसोव्युष्ट्याप्रसादाच्छस्वयम्भुवः ॥ ६-९३-२९
- and gratified Brahma the lord of creation at the conclusion of those austerities. As a consequence of that austerity alone and by the grace of Brahma the lord of creation - ॥ 6-93-29॥

teSuteSvavakAzeSusvayambhUHparitoSitaH । tasyaivatapasovyuSTyAprasAdAcchasvayambhuvaH ॥ 6-93-29
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनासुरेभ्यो न देवेभ्योभयंममकदाचन । कवचंब्रह्मदत्तंमेयदादित्यसमप्रभम् ॥ ६-९३-३०
- there was never a fear for me either from the Asuras or Devas. I was given a shield by Brahma, effulgent like the Sun . - ॥ 6-93-30॥
