भ्रात्रा विषमशीलेन कथं भ्राता निरस्यते । धर्मात्प्रच्युतशीलं हि पुरुषं पापनिश्चयम् ॥ ६-८७-२१
"Or else because of unfavourable disposition how can a brother be expelled by a brother? The association of one who has renounced righteousness and is of sinful deeds . - [6-87-21]

त्वक्त्वा सुखमवाप्नोति हस्तादाशीविषं यथा । परस्वहरणे युक्तं परदाराभिमर्शाम् ॥ ६-८७-२२
- is left by a righteous man who undoubtedly attains happiness, is like shaking off a venomous serpent from the hand. Seizing the property of others, uniting with others wife - [6-87-22]

त्याज्यमाहुर्दुरात्मानं वेश्म प्रज्वलितं यथा । परस्वानां च हरणं परदाराभिमर्शनम् ॥ ६-८७-२३
- evil mindedness is said to be given up like getting out of a burning house. Stealing the wealth of others, possessing others wife - [6-87-23]

सुहृदामतिशङ्कां च त्रयो दोषाः क्षयावहाः । महर्षीणां वधो घोरः सर्वदेवैश्च विग्रहः ॥ ६-८७-२४
- distrusting friends, these three faults will destroy a person. Dreadful killing of sages, haughtiness towards deities - [6-87-24]

अभिमानश्च कोपश्च वैरित्वं प्रतिकूलता । एते दोषा मम भ्रातुर्जीवितैश्वर्यनाशनाः ॥ ६-८७-२५
- irascibility, anger, animosity, refractorinessall are the faults of my brother, who is destroying himself and his empire - [6-87-25]
