विघ्नमन्विच्छतातत्रवानराणांपराक्रमे । ससैन्यास्तत्र गच्छामो यावत्तन्न समाप्यते ॥ ६-८४-१६

hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्यजेमं नरशार्दूलमिथ्या सन्तापमागतम् । सीदते हि बलं सर्वं दृष्ट्वा त्वां शोककर्शितम् ॥ ६-८४-१७
"O tiger among men! Give up this improper grief, which has come upon you. Seeing you tormented with grief, the entire army is sinking into despondency." ॥ 6-84-17॥
english translation
tyajemaM narazArdUlamithyA santApamAgatam । sIdate hi balaM sarvaM dRSTvA tvAM zokakarzitam ॥ 6-84-17
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइह त्वं स्वस्थ हृदयस्तिष्ठ सत्त्वसमुच्छ्रितः । लक्ष्मणं प्रेषयास्माभिः सह सैन्यानुकर्षिभिः ॥ ६-८४-१८
"You be confident at heart and be courageous now. Send Lakshmana with us with the army." ॥ 6-84-18॥

iha tvaM svastha hRdayastiSTha sattvasamucchritaH । lakSmaNaM preSayAsmAbhiH saha sainyAnukarSibhiH ॥ 6-84-18
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएष तं नरशार्दूलो रावणिं निशितैः शरैः । त्याजयिष्यति तत्कर्म ततो वध्यो भविष्यति ॥ ६-८४-१९
"The tiger among mortals with his sharp arrows will dispel Ravana's son from doing the action (sacrifice) then killing him will be possible." ॥ 6-84-19॥

eSa taM narazArdUlo rAvaNiM nizitaiH zaraiH । tyAjayiSyati tatkarma tato vadhyo bhaviSyati ॥ 6-84-19
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्यैतेनिशितास्तीक्ष्णाःपत्रिपत्राङ्गवाजिनः । पतत्रिणइवासौम्याश्शराःपास्यन्तिशोणितम् ॥ ६-८४-२०
"Those whetted and pointed arrows fixed with limbs of birds in the form of feathers will drink his (Indrajit's) blood like cruel birds." ॥ 6-84-20॥
