ततोऽब्रवीन्महातेजास्सुग्रीवोवानराधिपः । अर्थ्यंविज्ञापयंश्चापिहनूमन्तमिदंवचः ॥ ६-७५-१
Sugriva of great majesty, the king of Vanaras called Hanuman to make him know the task ahead and said these words. [6-75-1]
english translation
यतोहतःकुम्भकर्णःकुमाराश्चनिषूदिताः । नेदानीमुपनिर्हारंरावणोदातुमर्हति ॥ ६-७५-२
"As Kumbhakarna is killed and his sons are destroyed, Ravana may not put up defence again. I think." [6-75-1]
english translation
ये ये महाबलाः सन्ति लघवश्च प्लवंगमाः । लङ्कामभिपतन्त्वाशु गृह्योल्काः प्लवगर्षभाः ॥ ६-७५-३
''Therefore let those valiant and agile Plavamgamas, who are able to do so, hurl themselves on Lanka with torches in their hands!” [6-75-3]
english translation
हरयोहरिसङ्काशाःप्रदग्धुंरावणालयम् । तोस्तंगतआदित्येरौद्रेतस्मिन्निशामुखे ॥ ६-७५-४
''The monkeys equal to that of lions, invade the abode of Ravana.'' After the Sun set as the frightening night started - [6-75-4]
english translation
लङ्कामभिमुखास्सोल्काजग्मुस्तेप्लवगर्षभाः । उल्काहस्सैर्हरिगणैस्सर्वतस्समभिद्रुताः ॥ ६-७५-५
- the bulls among Vanaras turned their faces towards Lanka and went holding torches in hand. Vanara troops went all over with torches and chased by them - [6-75-5]
