येहन्यन्तेरणेतत्रराक्षसाःकपिकुञ्जरैः | हताहतास्तुक्षिप्यन्तेसर्वएवतुसागरे || ६-७४-७६

- all those Rakshasas, who were being killed by the foremost of vanaras were being thrown away into the sea as and when they were killed, merely or the sake of honour (so that their number may not be known to the vanaras). [6-74-76]

The son of the wind god sprung from there hurriedly took the mountain of herbs to Himalayas and returned and joined Rama. [6-74-77]
