निर्जघ्नुस्सहसाऽप्लुत्ययातुधानान् प्लवङ्गमाः । शैलशृङ्गाचिताङ्गाश्चमुष्टिभिर्वान्तलोचनाः ॥ ६-६९-५१
The vanaras suddenly jumped and killed Rakshasa leaders. Attacked by mountain-peaks and blows of fists their (Rakshasa) eyes protruded. ॥ 6-69-51॥

There Rakshasa leaders trembled, shrieked and fell down. The Rakshasas also pierced with arrows the foremost of the monkeys . - ॥ 6-69-52॥

- the battlefield was covered and became dampened with blood within an instant. There, the battlefield was filled with mountain like forms of Rakshasas drunk with the pride of warfare, lying scattered all over. ॥ 6-69-55॥
