मृगाणांमहिषाणांचवराहाणांचसञ्चयान् । चक्रुर्नैरृतशार्दूलाराशिमन्नस्यचाद्भुतम् ॥ ६-६०-३१
Those excellent Rakshasas piled up a great mass of wonderful food with the meat of deers, buffaloes and pigs. [6-60-31]
english translation
ततश्शोणितकुम्भांश्चमद्यानिविविधानिच । पुरस्तात्कुम्भकर्णस्यचक्रुस्त्रिदशशत्रवः ॥ ६-६०-३२
Then the Rakshasas placed thirty three kinds of meat, pails of blood, and a variety of wines in front of Kumbhakarna. [6-60-32]
english translation
लिलिपुश्चपरार्ध्येनचन्दनेनपरन्तपम् । दिव्यैराश्वासयामामासुर्माल्यैर्गन्धैस्सुगन्धिभिः ॥ ६-६०-३३
Again, they daubed Kumbhakarna with highly fragrant sandal paste to take in fragrance, with wonderful garlands and perfumes. [6-60-33]
english translation
धूपंसुगन्धांश्चससृजुस्तुष्टवुश्चपरन्ततम् । जलदाइवचानेदुर्यातुधानास्ततस्ततः ॥ ६-६०-३४
They also burnt incense, sandal to send forth fragrance to gratify Kumbhakarna and thundered like clouds here and there. [6-60-34]
english translation
शङ्खांनापूरयामासुश्शशाङ्कसदृशप्रभान् । तुमुलंयुगपच्छापिविनेदुश्चाप्यमर्षिताः ॥ ६-६०-३५
They blew moon like conches shining brightly. Intolerant Rakshasas raised loud noise simultaneously. [6-60-35]
