तेवानरेन्द्रास्त्रिदशारिबाणैर्भिन्नानिपेतुर्भुविभीमकायाः । ततस्तुतद्वानरसैन्यमुग्रंप्रच्छादयामाससबाणजालैः ॥ ६-५९-४४

Pierced by the arrows of Ravana the Enemy of Gods, those monkey-Generals of terrifying stature fell on the ground. Thereupon, he covered that formidable army of monkeys with a shower of arrows. ॥ 6-59-44॥
