ददर्शमहतीसेनावानराणांबलीयसाम् । अभिसञ्जातरोषाणांप्रहस्तमभिगर्जताम् ॥ ६-५८-६

Swords, lances, daggers, darts, spears, clubs, maces bars, barbed missiles, various kinds of axes . - [6-58-7]

नूंषिचविचित्राणिराक्षसानांजयैषिणाम् । प्रगृहीतान्यशोभन्तवानरानभिधावताम् ॥ ६-५८-८
- and different bows glittered in the hands of demons, who were running up towards the monkeys and seeking victory. [6-58-8]

जगृहुःपादपांश्चापिपुष्पितान्वानरर्षभाः । शिलाश्चविपुलादीर्घायोद्धुकामाःप्लवङ्गमाः ॥ ६-५८-९
The Vanaras burning with desire to fight, for their part went with huge trees in bloom, huge and long rocks. [6-58-9]

तेषामन्योन्यमासाद्यसङ्ग्रामःसुमहानभूत् । बहूनामश्मवृष्टिंचशरवर्षंचवर्षताम् ॥ ६-५८-१०
Each of them approached one another with showers of rocks and many arrows and by that a great war happened. [6-58-10]
