बलवन्तोऽस्त्रविदुषोनानाप्रहरणारणे । जघ्नुर्वानरसैन्यानिराक्षसाःक्रोधमूर्छिताः ॥ ६-५३-२६
The strong demons (Vajradamshtra) skilled in weaponry and wielding various kinds of weapons, killed the army of monkeys in that battle, with their increased anger. [6-53-26]

निघ्नतोराक्षसान्दृष्टवासर्वान्वालिसुतोरणे । क्रोधेनवदिगुणाविष्टःसंवर्तकइवानलः ॥ ६-५३-२७
Seeing the Vanaras being destroyed, Vali's son, Angada with redoubled anger, like fire at the time of universal destruction, started to exterminate Rakshasas. [6-53-27]

तान् राक्षसगणान्सर्वान्वृक्षमुद्यम्यवीर्यवान् । अङ्गदःक्रोधताम्राक्षःसिंहःक्षुद्रमृगानिव ॥ ६-५३-२८
The valiant Angada with his raging red eyes lifted a tree and killed all those troop of demons, like a lion killing small animals. Angada, with his prowess . - [6-53-28]

चकार कदनम् घोरम् शक्रतुल्यपराक्रमः । अङ्गदाभिहतास्तत्रराक्षसाभीमविक्रमाः ॥ ६-५३-२९

विभिन्नशिरसःपेतुर्विकृताइवपादपाः । रथैश्चित्रैर्ध्यजैरश्वैः शरीर्हैररिरक्षसाम् ॥ ६-५३-३०
