शरनिर्भिन्नगात्रास्तेशूलनिर्भिन्नदेहिनः । जगृहुस्तेद्रुमांस्तत्रशिलाश्चहरियूथपाः ॥ ६-५२-७
While their bodies were split up by the tridents and their limbs broken by arrows, those leaders of monkeys took up trees and rocks there to fight. ॥ 6-52-7॥
