युध्यमानमनालक्षयंशक्रोऽपित्रिदशेश्वरः । द्रष्टुमासादितुंवापिनशक्तःकिंपुनर्युवाम् ॥ ६-४५-११

Indrajith who had fire like eyes, said, "even the ruler of gods cannot discern while I am fighting war, why speak about you? It is not possible." [6-45-11]

english translation

प्रावृताविषुजालेनराघवौकङ्कपत्रिणा । एषरोषपरीतात्मानयामियमसादनम् ॥ ६-४५-१२

"Raghava brothers! You are enmeshed with plumes of arrows all over the body. My anger will not go waste. I will send you to the abode of Yama, the Lord of death." [6-45-12]

english translation

एवमुक्त्वातुधर्मज्ञौभ्रातरौरामलक्ष्मणौ । निर्बिभेदशितैर्बाणैःप्रजहर्षननादच ॥ ६-४५-१३

Indrajith having spoken to the righteous brothers Rama and Lakshmana in that way, began to pain them with arrows and stood rejoiced roaring aloud. [6-45-13]

english translation

भिन्नाञ्जनचयश्यामोविष्फार्यविपुलंधनुः । भूयोभूयश्शरान्घोरान् विससर्जमहामृथे ॥ ६-४५-१४

Indrajith who was like a mass of crushed black hill, mounting the huge bow released terrific arrows again and again in that great conflict. [6-45-14]

english translation

ततोमर्मसुमर्मज्ञोमज्जयननिशितान् शरान् । रामलक्ष्मणयोर्वीरोननदाचमुहुर्मुहुः ॥ ६-४५-१५

There after that warrior went on digging sharp arrows into the vital parts of Rama and Lakshmana again and again and kept roaring. [6-45-15]
